Credit Card payment/Net balance

Hi! I’m trying to properly configure credit cards in Budget Flow, but I’m confused about how balances and credit card payments are supposed to work.

Current scenario:

  • Credit card limit: $6,000

  • Current debt: $6,763.51

What I did:

  • I created the account as a credit card

  • I set the initial balance as negative (-6763.51)

  • I make payments using transfers from my debit account to the credit card account

Problem:
Even after making a payment, my overall balance/net balance does not decrease as expected. It seems like the transfer is not affecting the balance correctly, or the app is interpreting the credit card account differently than expected.

Also, I noticed:

  • “Initial balance” automatically becomes the “total balance”

  • I’m not sure where the credit limit should actually be entered

  • Sometimes the credit card appears as a positive asset instead of a liability

Could you please explain:

  1. What is the correct way to configure a credit card account?

  2. How should credit card payments be registered?

  3. Is the app showing net worth instead of cash balance?

  4. Where should the credit limit be entered, if applicable?

I’d appreciate clarification or maybe a future update to make credit card handling clearer, since right now it’s a bit confusing.

Thanks!
