Add more customization options for the app's UI

Budget Flow✨ Small Improvements

Basically, the app is very simple and intuitive to use. However, as more functionality is added, it can become more complex to use because all the UI elements take up space.

To reduce the complexity, it might be useful to add more customization options to simplify the UI. Here are some examples:

  • Customize the menu and tab bar items (for example, remove the Budgets tab if you don't use budgets).

  • Hide certain areas of the transaction form

    Yes! As someone with ADHD, this is so important, being able to hide sections or UI elements we don’t use to the app is not cluttered would be Amazing

    I’d love this option! It would be great if some things of the settings menu could be on the bar, like accounts, recurring transactions, reminders, etc.

    I agree with this. I wish I could trigger search (+ search as you type!) from a bottom toolbar and not the tiny little button at the top right of 2 of the screens.

    I absolutely agree! I love how many features this app has, but I'm sure many users only make use of a part of them. Here are a few more ideas on how the app could potentially be simplified:

    • Not just hiding, but also offering an option to customize the order of the fields in the transaction form.

    • In the transaction form, an optional quick access feature/widget where users can select the category simply by clicking on the category icons.
