Additional Shortcuts functionality
Some nice (imo) quality of life functionality for Apple Shortcuts.
"Create Transaction" shortcut:
- Allow creating transfers via Shortcuts.
New "Show balance for period" shortcut:
Calculates entire balance in budget book for observed period and returns amount as number.
Input:
- Budget book
- Period
Result:
- Number (total balance for budget book in period)
New "Show balance for account" shortcut:
Calculates account balance for observed period and returns amount as number.
Input:
- Budget book
- Account
- Period
Result:
- Number (total balance for account in period)
New "Show balance for category" shortcut:
Calculates category transaction sum for observed period and returns amount as number.
Input
- Budget book
- Category
- Period
Result:
- Number (transaction sum for category in period)
New "Show available budget" shortcut
Displays how much money is available in a specific budget.
Alternatively, these could all be a single shortcut action, with an option to chose the granularity (for budget book, for account, for category).

Anyone have problem with the shortcut after payment with apple pay ?

The shortcut doesn’t work when the phone is locked. It makes the shortcut useless for me when the trigger is from bank sms and transaction was not initiated by me. The transaction fails to be recorded as the phone is locked or is in pocket.

One more note - that for the transfers a workaround could be to create shortcut with Expense and Income, to mimic transfer, but in this case it is missing the "Evaluated" flag as well, and both transactions have to be manually changed - adding the flag sounds the easiest in this case and could be added before adding the proper "transfer" type to transaction shortcut.
Would that be possible @Fabian ?

I second the request to extend "create transaction" to transfers, as those require the most clicks out there (select from and to account, amount, category etc) and it would make life easier if this could be simplified with a shortcut for my most common transfers.

It’ll be great if the shortcut allows adding attachment as well.
