Allow multiple categories per transaction
Mint has this nice feature where you can split a transaction across multiple categories. For example, my wife and I might go to Costco and get groceries but also get things that might go under our shopping budget or our own personal budgets. It’s easy to just add multiple transactions if adding them manually, but if importing a CSV (or if account connection support is added) it would be nice to split the transaction when editing it.

Split transactions is a must for me going forward. Since this request is now over two years old, it doesn’t look like it’s coming anytime soon. Am I correct?

This is a really important feature for me as well. For another example, receive a payment for rental income that has rental expenses taken from it. Want to record the gross rental and then the expenses taken from separate categories.

Very important and very basic transaction
limitless usage cases:
1. You pay groceries + want to know paid taxes (vat, etc.)
2. you make transaction in the bank, transaction is a asocciated cost, which is separate category
3. You visited a store and bought food and chemicals, which might be different categories
