[1.6.0] Attach PDFs to transactions
Currently it is only possible to attach photos to transactions (e.g. receipts). However, it would be useful to be able to attach PDF documents (e.g. invoices) as well.

Hopefully this won’t be limited to PDF files… It would be nice if I was able to attach *.eml files (Emails) as well.

In the upcoming update (1.6.0) it will only be possible to attach PDF documents but I have prepared it internally so that other document types are generally possible as well. However, I will have to check if the QuickLook View Controller provided by Apple can also display *.eml documents, because it is not explicitly mentioned in the documentation (see https://developer.apple.com/documentation/quicklook). If so, I will extend the attachment feature in the 1.6.1 update :)

The documentation says „Quick Look can generate previews for common file types, including:(…)“ which sounds like a non-exhaustive list.
The quicklook in finder does support *.eml files. I don’t know if the provided framework is the same as the quicklook implemented in the finder app on a Mac.
But I know that iOS by default is not able to open eml-files.

Hi @Rene,
I have just tried it out but apparently the *.eml files cannot be displayed using Apples Quick Look view :( The only other thing I have read is that it is apparently possible to define your own data types for previews, but I don't know how complex this is and whether it is technically feasible to display the *.eml files at all. Therefore, I think that a PDF export of the mail would be a possible workaround.
