[2.0.4] Budget widget only shows budgets with multiple categories

I have several budgets set up in the app. Unfortunately, when I set up a budget widget on my home screen, it appears empty. When I edit it, select the relevant period for my budget, and try to choose it from the list, the list is empty.

How can I fix it?

Hi @moranmono , can you try restarting your device? Sometimes there are some issues with the widgets due to bugs in Apple's operating system and in many cases a simple reboot helps (at least for missing or blurry widgets). Maybe this will help as well in your case.

Alternatively, you can also try to create another budget and/or another budget book with a new budget. At least the latter should show up in the list.

      Thanks. But the issue persists.

I tried restarting the device and getting the same result. I also tried creating the widget on my MacBook and getting the same result. So, I think it has something to do with how I set up those budgets.

As for your other suggestion, Can I open another budget book only for those budgets?

I have solved it. If only 1 category is added it will not work.

Several categories need to be ticked and then named. It is possible that if you don't give it a name it won't work with 1 checked category.

Hi @rodphaser, thanks for the tip. I wondered why I couldn't reproduce this issue. However, since I only have budgets with several categories myself, this explains it 😅 I will now fix it asap :)
