[3.0.1] Opening the Tansaction Form View takes a very long time on iOS 26 when the Budget Book is shared

Currently, when I click the “+” button to add a transaction, it takes a very long time (around 8 seconds) before the new transaction modal opens. I’ve updated to iOS 26 and am running the version 3.0 on an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

    True. I wanted to create a new bug post, but this is basically what I experience. In my case it’s not 8 seconds, but definitely around 4 seconds each time. It worked instantly before the update to new IOS version.

    Hi @Loc Tran,
    thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the problem to such an extreme degree on my own devices. However, I also notice a slight delay with iOS 26. Does the problem only occur when you click on the “+” button, or also when you open the “Transaction Form Dialog,” e.g., via a suggestion on the dashboard or in edit mode?

    That would really help me narrow down the cause :)

      I can confirm that when opening the “Transaction Form Dialog” there’s also a noticeable delay, but it’s not as severe as when opening it via the “+” button.

      I have recorded video for you, hopefully I haven’t flashed any of my confidential and low income 😅. Also interface is Ukrainian, but I think it’s ok since you know it well.

      I have iphone 12.

      So what I am doing:

      1. First I switch to “Budgets“ and click “Add budget“ several times to show how responsive is interface in other parts of app.

      2. Then I switch to “Overview“ and INSTATLY click green “Add“ button. You can see how long it takes to open the dialog window.

      3. Then I switch back to “Budgets“

      4. Then I switch to “Overview“ again and INSTATLY click one of the propositions. Even though the animation of button click played later on, I clicked the button long before(see. INSTANTLY)

      Also I have tried to experiment and create a Test(empty) budget book and there is no such delay, or no delay at all better to say.

      I’ve noticed that this bug might happen either because I have a lot of transactions or because I’m using the budget-sharing feature with my family. However, this issue only occurs on iOS 26 — on iOS 18 everything runs smoothly. Specifically, when I tap the “+” button to add a new income or expense, the modal to enter the details takes a long time to open

      Additionally, when I select a budget book that is used only by myself, with no contributors, and with very few income/expense records, it still works fine on iOS 26.

        Hi @Loc Tran,

        thanks for the tip about the shared budget book. I was able to reproduce it now by using a shared budget book and will look into the cause of the issue.

        the bug should now be fixed in the latest TestFlight beta (Version 3.0.1).

        Feel free to check it out. If everything also works fine on your device I will publish the update to the App Store as well.

          Hi @Fabian This issue was fixed when pressing the + button to add an income or expense. However, it hasn’t been fixed when I press edit on an existing income or expense. Could you check again on version 3.0.1 in TestFlight?
