Copy & move accounts / categories / transactions between two budget books
If you have several budget books (e.g. one for yourself and one for the whole family) and you want to have the same entries in both of them, you currently have to create them twice.
In this case it would be convenient to be able to copy or move the entries from one budget book to the other.

Having an option to transfer money between budget books would be great too , suppose i and my wife are sharing a vacation budget book she can transfer the amount from her account to this new Budget book and we can track our expenses in this same shared budget book

I have a single budget book. Other than a work budget book, what on Earth are you guys using budget books for?

Considering my usecase, ability to transfer between accounts of 2 budget books is essential. I have a monthly/personal budget book and others for my yearly spends and vacation.
Yearly spends and vacation have separate budgets, but the accounts will be common among all these budget books.
Also, a quick way to switch between budget book in overview tab would be perfect.

Having the same need. A toggle to “reflect” an expense in more than one Book would be really useful.

Allowing transfer of money between budget books
Suppose i am maintaining a budget book just for savings , It would be great to have an option where i can transfer amount between budget books.

Also would be useful to be able to transfer “into” or “out” of the budget books (if you have no budget book of the source/recipient). Example would be if my wife does not use the app and just maintains an excel file of our shared house budget. So I transfer a certain amount monthly to our shared bank account, but I suppose it is not an expense.

This for me is a really necessary feature as maintaining different budget books for different purposes but having the option to transfer balances around is super helpful while tracking transactions

Hey @Fabian i feel this one is most important to make budget books really useful and practical in daily life. I know it may be complicated between database but it has been one year, i wish that you can implement this soon.

Transfer between budget books
My gf and I have our individual budgets and a common “house” budget for our common bank account. Every now and then I have to top-up this common account, it would be quite helpful if there was an option to transfer money from my individual budget book to the common one.
Right now i pass lets say 100€ as expense on the first and then create another income transaction on the second. It’s not the most ideal.

Also would be useful to be able to transfer “into” or “out” of the budget books (if you have no budget book of the source/recipient). So I transfer a certain amount monthly to our shared bank account, but I suppose it is not an expense, but you can only transfer from one account to another, so perhaps a work around is I can create an account that is named “shared bank account.” But really, I want to put all of our transactions here in the app, but transferring between budget books is currently not available.
