Credit card periods

It would be helpful to add a feature to separate credit card periods based on the statement closing date, rather than just following the standard monthly calendar (1-31). Not all cards close their period on the 31st, and this option would make management more accurate and personalized. If this feature already exists, I might not be understanding how to use it—some clarification or a more intuitive setup would be great!
