Easier way to skip recurring transactions

Currently, a recurring transaction can only be skipped by clicking on the "+" icon (e.g. in the "Planned transactions" view so that the transaction is temporarily added now) and then deleting the temporarily added transaction again. However, as this is quite inconvenient, it would be much easier if you could choose whether you want to add the transaction now or skip it when you click on the "+" icon.
