It would be nice to be able to choose which accounts are included in my assets and which are not.
I don't want my total assets to include, for example, credit cards or a loan account I have, since I don't have that money on me.
Could you add a button to toggle this account on or off from my total assets?
In other apps I used before, it was simply called "show in total assets."

Fabian this would be really a great feature where you just select a checkbox or something on the account to be excluded from totals or not. Why is this a good point, because for example:
added 3 account
2 of them are normal bank accounts (here I want to see the totals etc..)
1 of them is a saving account (for this I don’t want to be included in totals or in the reports)
Why? Now the app includes all 3 accounts and sums the balance etc…But this can be tricky or it really depends what the user wants to see. If I talk about myself its making the balance etc..a complete nonsense because I was used to not included savings account into it. So please take a look once more :) otherwise the app, UI feels really great <3

@Fabian any updates or plans for this topic? This would be very helpful to show the real available budget, excluding any blocked budgets (e.g. a banking account that only gets money removed from once a year, but I put money monthly into it) or savings accounts.

@Dennis Otto What exactly do you mean by "exclude some banking accounts from my total balance"? Do you want the income and expenses to no longer affect the balance chart displayed on the overview page? If yes: This is already possible by filtering the accounts on the overview page (via the "..." menu button at the top right). The corresponding accounts will then no longer appear in the overview page widgets, such as charts.

Yes, using the filter has the intended effect I am looking for, but the filter has some unwanted side effects that I don‘t want to have.
If I use the filter option to exclude some banking accounts, the excluded banking accounts will not appear in the in the price graph and total balance (highlighted in red in the screenshot), but they will also not appear in the list of all banking accounts (highlighted in green in the screenshot).
It would be a great feature in my option to be able to just remove a banking account balance from the red balance number while keeping them visible in the green area.
In my example I would exclude the Revolut Pocket Banking accounts as the balance in them is already blocked for future payments that e.g. only happen once a year to only see my “available, ready to spend” money amount in the red box.

Hi @Dennis Otto, yes, I understand what you mean. At the moment, however, I get the data in the distribution widget directly from the chart widget so that I don't have to calculate it multiple times.
Another thing I could think of would be to turn the "Sort" button for the accounts into a "More" button where you can choose in a menu whether you want to sort the data (as it is today) or display a list of all accounts. The latter would then display a further view where all accounts including the account balance would be displayed where you can then see the transactions of the respective account. Would that help you or do you have any other ideas? :)
Otherwise, as a workaround, you can already view the list of accounts in the settings, including their current balances and transactions.

not OP, but came looking for a similar feature. I think the current filter option is good, but would like a “saved view” to quickly sort thru the list.
My preferred setup is to have Credit Cards and checking accounts in the balance totals only. Savings accounts are filtered out.
Would be great to have another view of just my savings accounts, with configuration set to see my savings rates.
