Start day of next month option

For example, if I get paid on July 24th, I want this household accounting to start on the 24th. I want this to be considered August, starting with my July 24th paycheck.

Let me know if there's already a solution.

    @Fabian Sorry for the late reply — this hasn’t been resolved yet. Could you change the status back?

    If you’re already aware of it, it’s fine to keep it closed though.

      Hi @Kengo Tate,

      thanks for your feedback. You can define the start day of each month either via the advanced settings or by using the menu in the top right corner when you click on the period selection button.

        I do not consider my use case to be particularly unusual, but I will proceed with that method. Thank you:)

    Settings > Advanced Settings > Start day of month.

    If you think this setting is too well hidden, I agree :) there are a few proposals on this list to reorganise settings into a more rational and discoverable configuration

      I do know that that feature exists.

      But that’s not what I want—what I’m asking for is that, for example, if I set the start date to the 24th, I want 8/24–9/23 to be treated as “September.”

      In my mind, I’m living through September on the paycheck that comes in on 8/24.

      However, this app simply assumes that the month starts on the 24th, so it thinks August starts on 8/24. That can’t be right, can it?
