Feature Suggestions for the Budget App

I’ve really been enjoying the app so far—it’s simple and effective! That said, I thought I’d share a few ideas that could make it even better for users like me:

1. Budget Tracking by Categories

Right now, the app shows overall budget progress, which is great. But it would be even more useful if this could be broken down into categories. For example, each category could have its own bar graph or progress bar showing how much has been spent compared to the budgeted amount. That way, it’s super easy to track spending as it happens (I’ve attached a photo for reference).

2. Smart Spending Alerts

It would be awesome to get real-time notifications when I’m close to overspending or about to go over budget in a category. That little nudge could help me make better decisions on the spot.

3. Goal Setting

Adding a goal-setting feature would also be a big plus. For instance, being able to set savings goals for a project or purchase and then track progress right in the app would be really motivating (I’ve attached a photo for reference).
