Mac Inputs not syncing to iOS

Anything I input into my mac app is not syncing to my iOS at all. When inputting from iOS though, it will show up on my Mac. In the sync preferences menu on Mac, it shows that transaction counted on the device, but not reflected on iCloud. It is uploading and downloading, without any errors. But does not seem to be actually syncing to the cloud.
