[2.1.16] MacOS navigation bug

In budget flow on macOS, in settings when I click on an account or a category in a list, it only ever opens the first entry in the list. It’s almost impossible to open the specific account or category in MacOs settings - have to do it on the iPhone or iPad app.

The video shows the problem. I’m on the latest versions of the app and the OS. Have tried to delete and reinstall but the issue persists.

    Hi @ssmmuu,

    Thanks for your bug report. Another user had the same problem and sent me a video. It looks to me as if there is a bug if you have activated the “Keyboard navigation” option in the macOS settings under “Keyboard” → “Keyboard navigation”. Then the first entry is highlighted and remains selected, even if you actually click on another one. I have now also looked at this in the code and will fix it for the next update.

    As a workaround you can either:

    • Disable keyboard navigation in the macOS settings

    • Or use a swipe gesture (move the mouse over an entry and swipe from right to left) to open the side menu and click on the pen icon there to edit the recipient (just like on the iPhone)
