The sub-category, which is part of the main category, automatically regains its colour, the icon can be changed.

In the main category, all transactions in its subcategories are grouped together.

Example

Main Category:

  • Healthcare

Subcategories:

  • Health Insurance

  • Dentists

  • Medicines

  • Fitness and Sports

  • Medical Services

And the possibility to see the total expenses of the main categories, as for accounts

    This would be incredibly useful. Hope the dev can implement this sooner rather than later.

    It’s almost already there with folders - we just need to be able to see the combined expenditure/income per folder.

    This would be amazing if available. There are already folders but those are not really useful and can’t be selected for filtering or anything.

    Probably easiest would be to just extend current folder feature.
