Please add API Support for M2M interaction with my expenses

Budget Flow💡 Feature Requests

Thanks for having a CSV Export and more important the CSV Import! This makes working with the app on a professional level more exciting.
The next step to make the interactions perfect would be to implement a publicly available API, where a user can authenticate itself and then do simple CRUD actions.
With this we could write automatic interactions between different machines to automatically create expenses.

    I’d love to use Budget Flow with tools like Raycast. The desktop app could listen for requests and perform changes to my wallet

    What about Apple’s Shortcuts? There are plenty added by the dev and I can see a lot automated with that as there are things like adding new expense, category, searching transactions etc.

    But obviously not for Windows, if that’s the case here.

      An API would allow access from different operating systems and more importantly would allow access from (cloud)-servers or automated Jenkins jobs.

      Edit: and apple shortcuts just open the BudgetFlow App. They do not allow to add expenses without opening the app in an automated way.
