Possible data loss on syncing

I’ve made some changes on iPad in Categories and Transactions assigned to them:

1. Removed old Categories and then removed their old Folders

2. Created new Folders with new Categories

3. Got through each Transaction that needed update and set the new desired Category

4. Synced

Now I open the app on the iPhone and it doesn’t see half of the modified Transactions. The new Categories are there (and the old ones are deleted). The balances and everything else are recalculated without the values of those affected transactions. They are nowhere to be found on iPhone, although both iPad & iPhone say they are fully synced, and those transactions are still shown properly on iPad.

If you have no other suggestions, I’m going to try to restore iPhone app from iPad’s latest backup (although I don’t like it since you explicitly mention it as experimental feature that could make further damage…)
