This may sound like a wild request, but it could be extremely useful for many people.
The idea is to have a Print / Receipt option for every transaction entry. When clicked, it should automatically generate a neatly formatted, text-based receipt using the transaction details. Can be made as a template by the user.
For example,
For an expense: a small heading followed by a short paragraph stating that the amount was paid towards a specific category, to the payee name, on the transaction date, with a small signature area at the bottom.
For income: a similar format stating that the amount was received towards a category, from the payer, on the transaction date.
This would allow users to quickly create a simple receipt that can be shared as a screenshot, PDF, or image.
The receipt number could be automatically generated using the date and time along with the payee/payer name.
