Recurring expenses with "N/A" amount

Currently, any recurring expense must have a specified amount. However, there are use cases when the recurring expense is not always fixed but dynamic, changing every month, such as payment for electricity.

It would be nice to be able to create a recurring expense with a reminder, prompting the user to input the paid amount.

    Hi Rafal,

    thank you for your suggestion. At the moment this is not possible. However, it is possible to change the amount of a recurring transaction afterwards. To do so, simply edit the corresponding transaction and then select "Save only this" when saving.

    As a workaround, you can also create a recurring transaction marked as "Pending" with a placeholder amount. Once the due date is reached, you can adjust the amount to the correct value and remove the Is Pending flag from that transaction.

      Yeah, I already did that for such transactions I have as a workaround.

      Just shared the idea here afterwards to leave a note of it :)
