Recurring payments shown incorrectly

I created a recurring payment for the last day of the month.
I configured it by setting the day of the recurring payment to 31 and set the recurring period to monthly. I expected to see the payment recurring on the last day of the month, e.g. 31.01., 28.02, 31.03, 30.04, ...
But in my upcoming transactions the payment is not shown for February.
Is this a known bug?
