saving envelopes

is it possible that instead of saving accounts, making envelopes in which we can put money in like a transfert (but without including it in the total balance) and add maybe a goal.

like i want to have an envelope for vacation money with a goal of saving 1000€ so i put money inside the envelope without it being a whole savings account.

could work for an emergency fund, someone who would want to put a certain amount of money aside for a project or a goal.
