Smart Transaction Categorization

This feature is available in other apps like Gem. You can set rules to categorize transactions automatically when adding them (by shortcuts or automations) based on the Merchant name or other criteria. This can happen if a category was not set in the shortcuts action, or if it was set to “Unknown”.

Budget Flow can also learn these rules based on previous similar transactions if a category was not yet set for the new transaction.

It would also be beneficial to have the Merchant as a new field, since the Notes field can have so many other information (like SMS, personal note, info). Merchants can even be a fully fledged feature with folders for branches, locations, etc…
