Want to check my daily/monty budget

I found that even if I make the budget at daily or monthly interval and the end day as the last day of the month, it ended up counted up to the amount of a whole year. But what I want to know is if I exceed my daily/monthly limit, like $200/day or $5000/month. Is it possible to fix it?
