The documentation / app tutorial should include the following items:

I am unable to share a budget through iCloud with my wife. I created a new budget (to keep it small) and attempted to share it through Messages. The wheel goes round and round and the process never completes. We are both Mac users and have iCloud accounts. I also share mine with the family. How can I share a budget?

Hi @jeff,
normally the sharing of the budget book should be completed after short time. During this process, the data is moved to a separate area in iCloud that can be viewed by multiple people. However if the iCloud storage is full it will not complete.
Can you therefore check if there is enough space in iCloud? At least that would be my first guess as to why the process is not completing sucessfully.

Hi Fabian,
Thank you for writing. Both my wife and I have 2GB icloud storage areas. Both have plenty of space, so that is not the issue. In Budget flow settings, when I select Share Budget Book, the popup show Owner and + Share with more people. If I click on Share with more people I don’t see my wife’s name , just my son Lyman, who I don’t want to share with. I don’t know if this is the problem and I can’t see how to edit the invited people.

Hi @jeff,
thanks for the screenshot and the explanation. Can you try clicking on “Messages” and inviting your wife? The upper area where only your son is displayed only shows some suggestions, but you can also invite other people via the messages or mail app, for example.
