[4.0.0] Store backups in iCloud Drive as well
Currently, the backups are only saved on the local device. However, if the app is deleted, all local backups will no longer be available. For this reason, they should also be saved in iCloud Drive.
Maybe also add the option to choose where backups should be stored (device, iCloud, both).

may i ask how is this request is different from native icloud backup of the budgetflow app+data? this should include all attached receipts.
my smaller issue with the above is that the backup gets huge with no way to archive old receipts. it would be awesome if links (not actual receipt) to external file storage eg. onedrive/gdrive can be added as options in the receipt field.

YES backup on iCloud Drive is essential
@Fabian Data integrity is essential to BudgetSync. This should be a TOP 5 feature IMO.

Hi, in addition to this, would it be possible to also add a backup option for transaction receipts/photos to iCloud Drive?
in current state the photo have an option be saved in the album automatically, which is awesome, but I reckon it would be simpler to locate receipts in a specific folder in iCloud Drive. (bonus if it can automatically rename the photo based on the assigned notes or category.)
eg;
Folder for Data/SQL
Folder for Photo/receipts
